After yet ANOTHER five minute return of ‘Captain Exposition’, where the characters stand around and explain what’s been going on offscreen, and yet ANOTHER villain ‘MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! We fooled them, the plan worked perfectly!!’ ending (what is that? 20 times now? 30??), it’s clear that the producers/writers have no clue of what they’re doing. Quit and move on.

I mean seriously - every episode she’s in, all she does is get her butt kicked. Not just beat up, but BRUTALLY POUNDED, mercilessly. It’s gotten to be really disturbing - I’m starting to think its some kind of weird violent fetish against young women by the producers/writers/directors.

Green Beetle turns out to be evil (WHO COULD HAVE SEEN THAT COMING??) and the show ends with yet another episode of Lex Luthor ‘MUAHAHAHAHAHA THE PLAN WORKED PERFECTLY!!’, just like the other 20 times. Effing. Lazy. Writing. It’s pretty clear the show really should be canceled at this point.

When you create a show with an overly complicated, confusing story arc that lasts over multiple seasons, and introduces characters that people grow attached to then basically abandons those characters to create a HUGE new cast that changes constantly, and gives the new characters almost nothing to do and no development, it’s hard to attract and keep new viewers - especially for an animated series whose target audience is young people. To be honest, Season 2 was a freakin’ mess.

I mean, COME ON, it’s so obvious a TWEEEEEEEESSSST on the not too distant horizon. He pleasantly ‘invites’ Miss M into his mind, uses his superior abilities to fool snd alter her, and jacks into Blue Beetle so he can take over his scarab too!

I’m just not sure yet who he’s working for - I kinda think it’s Darkseid, but it will probably be the same old Lex Luther ‘Ah yes - the plan worked perfectly all along! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!’ crap that’s been done to death.

Planes have thin aluminum skin. Bullets tend to go through thin aluminum pretty easily. He might have gotten kicky and hit someone.

You know, that particular plot device is REALLY lazy writing, has been around FOREVER, and is usually only good one time before it’s completely used up. Not to mention the 15th or 20th time.

These are somethings that have been bothering me for quite a while and just my thoughts about La’gaan because I honestly don’t understand the hate. At all. So here’s some points I don’t understand the most.

I realize his character isn’t going to appeal to everyone and that’s fine, not everyone clicks with every character. You can not like him, but don’t flat out rage hate just because, he has so much potential to turn into a more awesome character.

DISCLAIMER: This is my opinion, I’m not saying you have to like him, or have no reason for not liking him. I’m just stating why I don’t understand the more popular reason’s why he’s hated.

To me he feels like one of those characters an aging sitcom tosses on because they hope to bring new interest, with a ‘catchphrase’ but no story or reason to exist.

When/how exactly did Kaldur’s feelings…

It’s the kind of lazy writing that was popularized with ‘Lost’ - just keep piling on plot points and questions to keep fans trying to make sense of it all, but never provide answers.
